Consultation

The first stage of the process involves booking a consultation with our experienced and trained patient adviser who will discuss your concerns and the aesthetic, regenerative medicine, pain management and sexual rejuvenation treatments available in our clinic, as well as our life optimisation programmes.

Our highly trained patient advisers operate with maximum discretion in a relaxed and private atmosphere within the clinic. You will have an informal chat and be asked to complete a medical and lifestyle questionnaire which will help our team to initially assess your suitability for the treatments that we provide. It is helpful for all if you complete this with as much detail and honesty as possible so we can better understand your health status and lifestyle considerations.

During this consultation we will listen to your concerns and the problems that you are experiencing, as well as the solutions that you are hoping to achieve. We will discuss all aspects of what is involved with any treatments which may be suitable for you and to answer any questions or concerns that you may have.

Consultation Detail

You will be given time to take all the information away with you, to think about the treatment options and to book a further consultation with Dr Sherif Wakil, or another member of our medical team. A fee is applicable for consultations with Dr Wakil, which is redeemable against your treatment costs if you are happy to proceed.

During this consultation, a full medical history and evaluation will be undertaken to further assess your suitability for treatment in more detail, and to discuss a personalised treatment plan to address your skin, face, body, pain, sexual or health concerns. This will include full disclosure of any risks, side effects or potential complications, as well as any downtime you can expect afterwards.

At all stages, you will be encouraged to ask as many questions as you wish so that you have a full understanding of what is involved in any treatments, and can make an informed decision, providing appropriate consent for treatment.

Delivering safe treatments, which are effective, evidence-based and focused on addressing specific concerns is our priority. To do this, it is important that you understand everything that is involved and the consent process is an important part of your journey, so that we can both feel secure that you are making an informed choice about the treatments you are going to have. We ask that you thoroughly read through treatment information and consent forms before you sign to give consent that you have understood everything. If you are unsure about anything, we encourage you ask our team to explain things again; they will be more than happy to ensure that you are clear on any facts.

Personalised Treatment Plan

We know that every patient is different so we provide a bespoke and personalised treatment plan that will address all your anti-ageing, pain management, lifestyle, sexual health or body concerns to achieve the optimal results for you. We also pride ourselves on creating a bespoke O Concept™ to restore sexual health and well-being for both men and women, as well as life optimisation programmes which use bio-hacking to help get your health and life back on track through a variety of biologically tailored treatments from our experts.

A full medical assessment will be undertaken to enable our medical team to create a programme of treatments, and a timescale for them, which will suit your particular concerns; we do not operate with a one-size-fits-all portfolio of treatments. This means that we can discuss all the options with you, recommending the most suitable treatment or combination of treatments, ensuring that we explain in detail the procedures involved and how they will address the concerns that you have over time. You will be able to take home details of your bespoke plan.

Treatment

Appointments to attend the clinic for treatments will be scheduled according to any time separations required for healing, follow-ups, expert monitoring or where courses of treatment sessions are needed once every few weeks.

You will be supplied with any relevant information to allow you to attend the appointment, ready and prepared for treatment to commence. This may include without wearing make-up, having shaved an area, particularly in the case of sexual health treatments, or at certain times during the female menstrual cycle.

Prior to your first treatment, and at follow-up appointments, our policy is to record your progress by taking photographs which will serve as before and after comparisons within our medical records, so we can both assess how effective a particular treatment is for you. These photographs are securely stored with your patient information as part of your treatment history. They will not be used by our clinic for marketing purposes unless you expressly give permission for this use. If you would like to allow us to use your images, or if you wish to record a video of your journey, or provide a testimonial, our team will be more than happy to discuss how you can offer consent to do this, in line with GDPR data protection regulations.

Aftercare

After your treatment, it is important that we make sure that everything has worked as expected and that your body is reacting normally. We will provide you with aftercare advice so that you know what to do when you get home in terms of pain medication, cleansing, aftercare product use etc.

We will also give you details of our emergency aftercare telephone line which you can use to call us if you have any concerns about your recovery.

You can expect a call from our team the day after your treatment to make sure that you are happy, and everything is as expected. After a week, one of our nursing team will also call to provide a medical check-up with some questions and assessment of your progress. You will be invited in for a follow-up appointment after two weeks to check on your results from treatment and to discuss the next stage.

Should any correction work, or emergency treatment following a complication be required, you can be assured that our medical team, led by Dr Sherif Wakil have a considerable understanding and skill in dealing with any adverse reactions which can sometimes occur.
