How does Buttock Augmentation work?
Lanluma is an injectable collagen stimulating filler containing poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) which has been used within the medical industry for over 30 years.
It works with your body to activate collagen stimulation, to increase the volume of depressed skin areas and correct skin depressions we start to see as we age. The results appear gradually as collagen production is triggered, but best of all, because results are created using the body’s own collagen response, the results look and feel completely natural.
Why is it different?
Lanluma is not the same as a HA filler, because it doesn’t simply ‘fill up’ an area you are wanting to create volume in. Where can Buttock Augmentation be used?
This versatile product has been developed to be used for both the face and body. It can be used to enhance, volumise and contour buttocks, but can also provide facial rejuvenation.
It has the added benefits of helping to improve the appearance of skin irregularities like stubborn cellulite and can help diminish the signs of ageing in areas such as the neck, decolletage and hands.
What happens during Buttock Augmentation treatment?
Your practitioner will discuss with you how Lanluma works, what you want to achieve and what’s possible, including suggesting a treatment plan.
If you are happy to proceed with the procedure, your first session of Lanluma can be performed on the day of the consultation.
The area being treated will be applied with a local anaesthetic to make the Lanluma treatment virtually painless and your practitioner will then perform the treatment.
You will be able to resume most normal activities afterwards, but make sure you are aware of the aftercare and expect a little bit of redness and swelling.
After your first treatment, your practitioner will schedule you in for a follow up as agreed in your treatment plan.
Aftercare
The downtime of a Lanluma treatment is minimal and you will be provided with information on your aftercare. This can also be found on the Lanluma.com website.
A massage routine is essential to getting the best results, for five minutes, five times a day for at least 2 weeks, most people set a reminder on their phone to ensure they don’t forget!
